«There is a place in Bucharest where poverty has settled down for good; however, there is still one place where hope may arise. No matter what the exigency, the Phillip House brings forth original solutions to the problems of children and families at risk. Phillip House is a partner whom one can recommend as being serious, professional and effective.»

«Having worked for UNICEF in UK for the last two years and talked a lot about the work that UNICEF does, this has been the first opportunity [for me] to see UNICEF actually at work within the field. Out of the 3 days that I spent in Romania, I think Caminul Phillip is the most powerful project that I've seen in terms of things that UNICEF supports. It encompasses so many different issues and helps a whole community in everything that they do. I find the kids fantastic.»

«In 2000, Phillip House Foundation was granted $25,000 from World Vision Romania to develop a project for child protection. The beneficiaries were sixty Roma families and their children from the Ferentari Area. Critical situations have been overcome through meetings with support groups for parents, in-kind emergency support, individual counseling, and other special assistance services. This project was successfully integrated within the other projects of the foundation: educational reintegration, pediatric and dental care, spiritual growth, etc. The professionalism and self-denial of the Phillip House staff brings a ray of light and hope into the hearts of children who gladly come to the Phillip House everyday.»

«The project run by School No. 148 embodies our mission to create an inclusive educational environment in the community. During this school year we have been developing projects in partnership with the Phillip House Foundation. Within the framework of the project "Together at School", the Phillip House set up a Daycare Center in our school. The center is an interventional and necessary structure for the integration of Roma pupils originating from poor families. Our collaboration with the Phillip House proves the effectiveness of projects aimed at doing away with school drop-out and dealing effectively with at-risk situations regarding Roma children.»

The social services provided by the foundation ensure the good school results of the children.
